I.             What is the flesh?

a.      the flesh has desires that are usually perverted.  This is called lust. (James 1:12-17) Living Under Satan’s Tyranny

b.     satan works through the flesh

c.      the flesh is tied to the world system

d.     the flesh’s main source of strength comes through the eyes and ears

e.      the flesh can also produce what appears to be good and moral things

f.       the part of us governed by the senses that takes in worldly information that produces and results in a love for the world and not God and the things of God (II Timothy 4:10, I John 2:15-17, Matt. 16:21-23, John 8:37-47, Philippians 3:17-21)
