What is the purpose of the Strength of God?

So you can do what God has called you to do and be what God has called you to be

Strength Glorifies God.  Being Weak does not glorify God.

I’ve been weak and I’ve been strong:  strong is better! 

Romans 4:17-21, II Timothy 2:1, II Corinth. 12:9-10

You can’t resist the devil if you are weak-I Peter 5:9 (whom resist steadfast in the faith)

 

How does God strengthen His people?  How does one become strong in the Lord?

Statements:

Going through does not make you stronger

Trials do not make you stronger

Dealing with things on a regular basis does not make you stronger

What happens when you become strong?  You don’t put up with the things that you did previously.
