Scriptures:   Luke 6:35-38, Colossians 1:9-11, Ephesians 1:16-19, Matthew 13:18-23, Proverbs 3:5-10, Malachi 3:8-12, Philippians 4:13-19,

 

  1. Your giving should honor the Lord, not man or a crisis (Proverbs 3:5-10)

 

  1. Understanding produces the best results (Matt. 13:18-23)

 

  1. Give out of your believing not out of your lack or abundance.( What do you see on the inside of you?-Genesis 26:1-15, Mark 12:41-44)

 

  1. Giving and tithing is not the same thing. (Malachi 3:8-10)

 

  1. It is more blessed to give than to receive. (Acts 20:34-36)

 

  1. Believe also in receiving, not just giving. (Philippians 4:15, Galatians 6:6-9, II Corinth. 9:6-11, Psalm 112:1-8, Proverbs 11:24, 25, Genesis 8:22)

 

  1. Do not give out of necessity or because you have a need but in spite of it. (II Corinth. 9:6-15)
