Dominant Thought:  His promise must become your profession, so that His power can make it your possession.

 

  1. God is not a liar (Numbers 23:19, Hebrews 6:11-19)

 

  1. God’s Word is truth (John 17:17)

 

  1. The Lord confirms His word with signs and other types of manifestations that look like the promises we believe (Mark 16:20)

 

  1. Our hope (expectancy) should come from the promises not from the need for a miracle or something to change (Romans 4:17-22, Hebrew 6:11-19, Philippians 1:20)

 

  1. Our inheritance is obtained by standing upon the promises (Hebrews 6:11-15), Romans 15:4)
