What is Faith?

  1. Faith in God releases the authority of God into our lives
  2. Faith in God release the ability of God into our lives

What is the difference between faith and believing?

There are many types of faith represented in the Bible

  1. raise the dead type of faith
  2. feed the multitude type of faith
  3. rebuke wind and waves type of faith
  4. cast out demons type of faith
  5. heal the sick type of faith

What is the difference between “the faith of God” and “the faith of the world/satan?

  1. Where is your connection?
  2. Are you aware that there is a connection?

What is the purpose of faith in God?

Identify the difference between hope and faith

  1. What is hope?
  2. What is faith?

Examining and exploring the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ

  1. What did he say?
  2. What did he do?

How one translates what you know into results:  faith in the living God

Three areas where I’m to express my faith:

  1. Faith in the power of God (I Corinth. 2:1-4)
  2. Faith in God (Mark 11:22)
  3. Faith in the name of Jesus (Acts 3:16, I John 3:23)

Faith is dead without works (James 2:14-26)

Notes:

The God type of faith emanates from the Kingdom of God.  It is based upon God’s laws (His Word) and not the laws of the World system.  Understanding that there are two worlds will help one appreciate the difference.

Faith is synonymous with words/actions.  Where you see the word “faith” replace with “words” and “actions”

Faith speaks/acts out of the world of one’s believing

Your believing is connected to some world or another.  Your faith expresses itself from one or several of these worlds.  Adam first spoke concerning his wife out of the world of God (Gen. 2:22-23).  He then spoke out of the world of satan (Gen. 3:12, 20).
