Let us begin immediately with a scripture. Numbers 23:19 says "God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man that he should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?" It is crucial for us to understand and appreciate one thing about God: He is not a liar. Everything about Him is truth and light. There is no darkness in Him at all. If He said it then it will come to pass and if He spoke it then He will make it good. In spite of this truth about God, many feel that because what is found in the bible is not happening to them then there must some error with the Scriptures. I can assure you, there is nothing wrong with the Bible.
Allow me to make a statement that is vital to your success with God and the Bible. For the Bible to become a tangible reality in your everday life God's Promise must become your profession, so that His power can make it(that particular promise) your possession. Now what does this mean brother Andre'? It means that what God has promised in His Word must become a part of your everyday conversation. I will say this again: What God has promised in His Word must, must, must become a part of your everyday conversation. As a matter of truth, it must become as basic to your conversation as telling someone your name. Day and night you must say the Bible. Now I know I may have lost some of you when I said that but I have to tell you the truth. If you are a believer, then how many times did you hear about salvation before you finally believed that Jesus would forgive you of your sins; one hundred, one thousand, ten thousand times? The issue is not just speaking the Word of God, but it is speaking the Word of God so faith can come. Faith gets the Holy Spirit involved. Don't expect a visit from the Holy Spirit without faith. Please read the following scriptures:Joshua 1:5-8.,Deuteronomy 30:11-16
All of God's good for humanity in general and for you specifically will begin with His promises. Stop looking for God to come any other way than His Word and specifically what He has promised in His Word. Confusion is the result when we hope from God without a biblical reference point.
Furthermore, With God all you will get is a promise. But with God all you need is a promise. If you are expecting to receive from God, then you must begin with His promises. I can not emphasize this enough.
Here is a breakdown of my previous comment:
We must say incessantly what God has said about our situation in life, no matter how terrible it looks and no matter bad we feel. God's provision is not based upon our feelings nor the change in the weather. It is based upon the integrity and infallibility of His word.
Joshua 1:5-8
Mark 11:22-24
Isaiah 55:8-12
Deuteronomy 30:11-14
Hebrews 10:23
The Holy Spirit is the Person behind any manifestations of God's Word. If we forget this, then we are doing things in our own strength, and not the strength of God. The Holy Ghost has been sent to manifest truth to us. He has been sent to work for us and to work with us.
Genesis 1:2

Everything in heaven can be yours on earth right now. As a matter of truth it is yours. It is a part of your inheritance as a child of God. No matter what it is: health, peace, joy, strength, money, love, houses, cars, the anointing, grace, etc. You can possess it by faith. If you stand on God's word and say that it is yours because the bible says you can have it then the Holy Ghost will make certain that He gets it to you. I am telling you the truth as a minister of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I have met many ministers who do not pray or ever read their bible. Then they go in their respective churches and say that it is not God's will for you to possess healing. They say that it is not God's will for you to possess money. It is not God's will for you to possess the Holy Spirit in all His fulness. Then someone in the congregation who has read their bible says to the minister: "But what about this scripture, pastor"? This is where the confusion starts. Anyone can go to the bible and claim what the Bible has for them and the Holy Spirit will make it yours. After all, what is the purpose of the Bible? Now I can tell you that the Devil will try to make a liar out of you and say it will not happen. But if you act as if the only voice you hear is that of the Scriptures, then God will express His appreciation by letting you have what you confessed from His Word.
Furthermore, what we receive from God comes from heaven anyway.Philippians 4:19 You must say it and say it and say it and say it and say it and say it and say it and say it and say it. Only then will it become a tangible reality. Joshua 1:8, Deuteronomy 30:14, Psalms 91:2, Job 22:28, Romans 4:17-21, Romans 10:4-17, Mark 11:22-24, 2nd Corinthians 4:13, and Hebrews 10:23 all bear witness to what I am saying. When I pray, I believe I receive it when I pray, not after I pray nor after it has manifested in the natural.
The book of First John is full of reassurances concerning the type of victory God has given us in Christ Jesus. In First John 5:14-15, the scripture says: "And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, WE KNOW THAT WE HAVE(present tense, right now my friend) the petitons that we desired of Him. Love is mine. Peace is mine. Joy is mine. Strength is mine. Health is mine. Jesus is mine. The Will of God is mine. Total provision is mine. Increase is mine. Deliverance is mine. There is nothing that God your Father has held from you. You just need to know how to receive it. And in all likelihood, you need to talk to the devil about it. He is at the root of your problems, not God.
